(4.6/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
Step inside the life of a Russian peasant during the 18th and 19th centuries at Museum Of Wooden Architecture & Peasant Life. The open-air museum showcases preserved wooden buildings and homes relocated to this site from various villages in the Vladimir region. • Some woden houses gathered from the district and earned by some way a UN certificate. Quite disappointing by size and average content. Only one house showing local rural way of living. Much less attra...  more »
  • Was this the Museum twice: a few years back in the day of cucumber and November holidays. More liked to walk here alone without the crowds. We came in the morning, even before the arrival of buses with tourists (about 12.30). Able to calmly consider the exhibits enter houses and be there how much I wanted to. Information on homes placed on the plates, we answered some questions from the staff (there were in each House)-very responsive and pleasant woman. Tickets cost 250 roubles per person. There is paid parking (50 rub./h)-there are engaged in navigation. Free we don't have arrived just a little bit. On the territory of the Museum there is a swing for children. Here it will be interesting to children and adults.

  • Were with the children. Enjoyed it, but you want to take a guide or listen to someone else's, so that was interesting. All saved. Children should especially like excursion. Guys like we have with those times, although the wallpaper in the House of a merchant and derevjavnaja furniture, yes pelmets on Windows already then were decent. I advise you to look at.
