  • The restored Temple of the status of the Cathedral, located at Castle Hill, overlooks the town. This is the central place of tourists coming in Stavropol and will always be interesting to dive into the atmosphere of the Orthodox Church

  • Actually, this is the place which originated our city. In the beginning there was a defensive fortress, (the remains of its walls intact have survived so far), built in 1777, the year as one of the strongholds of the azovo-Mozdokskoj defensive line. Kazan Cathedral was first built in 1843. Our cathedral is the same difficult the tragic fate that befell many of the temples of Russia-in 30-ies of the twentieth century the Cathedral was destroyed. With two sides-with the Eastern and southern-lead to the temple stairs. Climbing on their steps, see ahead of white walls and gold domes and understand: the best way is the one that leads to the temple. Come to our city, and climb the stairs to the Cathedral, and you come back here again, and again, and again. ...
