  • Very original and unusual temple with beautiful authentic history, narrated very good and welcoming smotritel′nicej Church. With excellent sound transmission inside demonstrated the same smotritel′nicej. There is a small shop with souvenirs inside. There is an opportunity to climb (only very cautiously and without children) upstairs at the belfry and call themselves the bells. It is a pity that the House of the owner of those places have suffered after the fire. Requires investment finance for the completion of the restoration of the temple. The second such temple is in St. Petersburg.

  • The temple is located about 20 km from the old women in the village of Krasnoe. The last few kilometers of roads are almost non-existent. But nary a donated, that decided to visit this place. The temple itself has proven extraordinary beauty, just renovated. Certainly looks majestically. Yes and most liked. Near the temple there is a forest. If you walk through it, you find yourself next to the river. A wonderful place for a stroll

  • If you are traveling to the Tver region, be sure to visit this temple. He stands in the village of Red Staritsky district. From old women go in the direction of Torzhok in the village of Bratkovo turn right and drive about 5 km. From Bratkovo, the road is bad, but you can ride even on an ordinary sedan. Just slow down. After the victory of our fleet in Cesme by decrees of Catherine the great in St. Petersburg architect F. M. Felten built the Church of the Nativity of John the Baptist. Countess Poltoratskaya (very remarkable personality in the history of Russia 18-19 centuries), obožavšaâ Empress and dreaming about how to pogostila it on the road from the capital to Moscow, commissioned the same architect belonging to the Church in her village of Red. Church of the Transfiguration-almost an exact copy of the Chesme Church of St. Petersburg, just a bit more. Architecture is perfectly common to Orthodox churches. Both churches were built in pseudo-Gothic style, colored in pink and terracotta color. According to rumors, was another the same Church in Pskov province, but has not survived. The church operates. gradually restores the Interior. Sly-because in addition to donations of parishioners and tourists with no other sources of funding.
