See skeletons of existing and extinct animals, from tiny living insects to a gargantuan blue whale skeleton and woolly mammoths at Zoological Museum. With tens of thousands of fishes, invertebrates, reptiles, birds, and mammals represented, the museum displays almost every form of animal life on earth. View artifacts in dioramas of taxidermied animals and browse a large collection of skeletons and bones that includes rare specimens, such as narwhal tusks. One of the highlights is the naturally mummified body of a baby mammoth. Most display placards show the names of the species in Russian and Latin, but it's not essential to understand either of these languages to appreciate the exhibit.
