4.2/5 based on 750+ reviews on the web
Sit next to a gigantic, tropical pine tree at a cafe in Yeliseev's Food Hall (Yeliseevskiy Gastronom) and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with French pastries or cupcakes of your choice. The food hall occupies one floor of an early 20th-century Art Nouveau building, fully restored in 2012. Notice the allegorical sculptures of commerce, industry, science, and arts on the granite surface of the exterior. A giant, arched, stained-glass window makes the entire building appear as if it were one giant shop window. The hall on the lower floor has one of the best preserved Art Nouveau interiors in the city, with gilded ceilings, stuccoes, mosaics, wrought iron, crystal chandeliers, and mirrors. For travelers who use our custom trip planner, St. Petersburg holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Yeliseev's Food Hall (Yeliseevskiy Gastronom) and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.
