  • A short metro ride from the city centre we don't visit the grave of Dostoyevsky's and Tchaikovski cemetery. Dostoyevsky's Tomb sit for minutes in front of the Bank enjoyed the moment. Entrance fee but tickets are very reasonable.

  • Working hours at different times of the year may vary. Ticket cost approx 300 rubles, for students/pensioners-50 rubles. Very very nice garden, you can safely walk and bypass the entire necropolis. Well-groomed territory, neatly trimmed bushes. Some of the monuments may be on restoration-closed boxes. They would be pleased if you come with flowers:)

  • Necropolis of artists appeared on the cemetery in 30-ies of the 20 century by moving graves and monuments to other cemeteries. Latest George was buried here in year 1989 Tovstonogov. Burial is structured on the professional activity of famous people: alley composers, artists, actors and so on. What would like to see the thought leadership of the necropolis: each of the monument would be a good place brief information about the man, who was buried here. Unfortunately, many great people buried here, we no longer remember and don't even know it. Good to be at the cash doled out along with the ticket map Navigator, even describing the shield stands at the very end of the inspection, to the left of the entrance, and go immediately right send controllers with the words: "Dostoevsky-there". And the Board of visitors: better not come later than one hour before the closing of the necropolis. Local Rangers later start to assemble home and try to customize visitors. We were Saturday, Gates closed already in 16:45 (to 17:00)

  • Be careful. If you wanna visit just here (not 18th one), it just coasts 200rubles. check the price in Kicca before you pay
  • Little, peaceful and historical cemetery of Saint Petersburg, just at the entrance of Alexander Nevski monastery. Easy to reach with bus, at Alexander Nevskogo square, or by metro, the station of the same name. Paying one ticket can enter to both sides of the cemetary. Tikhvin have the most famous Russian figures: Dostoevskiy, Tchaikovskiy, Mussorgskiy, Rimsky Korsakov and others. Lazarus also have important names: Leonard Euler, Lomonosov, Agustín de Betancourt, but also have more graves, giving it a very special atmosphere. Once per year, at museum's night, host a an special event at midnight.
  • A beautiful little place home to Tchaikovsky and Dostoevsky amongst many other influential Russian artists.
  • Amazing to visit the famous graves, but it costs money to enter.
  • Pantheon of Russian Art. Dostoevsky and Tchaikovsky were buried here, and many other great people.
