  • Originally planned to visit only temporary exposition of photos in a separate room, but tickets and entered the Palace review. This is really a very cozy room Museum did not have universal scope, as, for example, in the Hermitage, and each of them, of course, has its own theme. Currently renovated 16 premises and the most interesting, as it seemed to me it's mineralogical Cabinet, which presents a variety of rocks and old encyclopedias. Thanks to a large window opening and a large number of mirrors in the solar time here is particularly nice. The only thing that left a negative emotion is too obnoxious Rangers: they walk behind you on the heels, looking over his shoulder. Sometimes just wanted to turn around and ask: "what is the problem?" Tickets to schoolchildren, pensioners, free benefits.

  • Excellent restaurant! You will be having a dinner in a palace, not in an ordinary restaurant. There are five gorgeously restored dining halls in the restaurant and palace “Russian Ampir”. A visit to r...  more »
  • Visited this place for the first time. Was delighted with its beauty. Stroganoff Palace-fine and by its architecture and interiors. During the visit, I lost count room, each of which has its own unique look. Style, Baroque and classicism. The Museum features collections of paintings, household items, a library and a collection of minerals (in the library). As for me, the most striking impression for me became interiors. In particular, I was struck by the variety of marbles: white, pink and purple and even blue. Still remember touching column of blue marble-it was impossible to resist. An employee of the Museum has made me comment "do not touch. This marble is still very young. Only 250 years, it is very vulnerable to touch! "in spite of all this splendor, with bitterness, it may be noted that the Palace needs more care and concern. Need more illumination, pronounced need for repairs in subsidiary premises, and as the Palace he lacks luster. There were very few visitors. On the one hand it created a pleasant peaceful intimate atmosphere, on the other hand, indicated that this place does not enjoy great popularity. Definitely, it deserves more attention and recognition. I want to add that in the Palace regularly hosts a variety of exhibitions. At this point you can visit the exhibition of the works of Edward Bekkermana "paradise", where you can see the images of angels, fantastic flowers and other subjects of the spiritual world. From the Interent, but thanks to her, I discovered the Stroganoff Palace. Visit the Palace, tickets are very cheap-200 roubles. Attention readers! The photo on the website demonstrating the Stroganoff Palace, is in fact a photograph of the Beloselsky-belozersky Palace. The true face of the Stroganov Palace can be seen on the website of the Russian Museum, or in Wikipedia.
