  • Interesting, well renovated Palace of generations of the stroganovs, I counted 14 halls in it. Before the season, tours are not conducted, unfortunately, but you can visit without a guide and tickets cost a total of 200 rubles. In the Museum there are very charged history home keeper halls, they will gladly tell you about exposure and a brief history of the family, but better in the Museum already go with printouts, because rumor is hard to understand who's who and what generation. And generally worth reading about the lives of the turbulent history of this dynasty. In the castle the family exactly Stroganov was born at one time the greatest architect Andrey Voronikhin (the most famous creation-Kazansky Cathedral), here he resided in a Palace in St. Petersburg. He was the author of some of these interiors. One of the jewels of the Palace is the only Russian original, not restored, a Grand Interior Rastrelli.

  • Nevsky Prospekt and Palace of pink that stands at the intersection of the Moika River. Stroganoff Earl made Beef Stroganoff Stroganoff as the Palace. An example of Russia and Baroque are. Decoration within the Palace fall compared with the Hermitage, etc., but interesting is the dining room. We have devised to show room, on the right side is mirrored. At the entrance of the Palace is a little confusing. Across the River on the Nevsky Prospekt, just wooden door at the entrance end of the Palace. So overlook the signs of small vine decline, but be careful.

  • This Palace belongs to the undeserved attention obojdjonnym architectural pearls of St. Petersburg. He stands in the background, several being lost amid the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, the suburban Palace and park ensemble of Peterhof, Tsarskoye Selo and Pavlovsk. But you should definitely visit it. And better-with excursion to pustovatye halls filled with not only the beauty of the interiors, but also the history of this House, its occupants and rich talent Rastrelli and Voronikhin. Find the Palace very easy, harder to catch a good shot in photography (photographing with Flash), to partly capture the beauty of its halls and classrooms. Especially remembered the great Hall, the Arabesque lounge, Mineral room and art gallery. Although the most spectacular location in the Palace is the Main dining room with its interesting solution mirrored walls and placed on her poluljustr. But even in small interior details, reproduced on the same photos and drawings, too, feel the beauty and splendor of this, of course, a worthy representative of the architecture of St. Petersburg. As mentioned in other reviews, visitors at the Palace a bit. So if someone rolled an extra hour and a half, and he will be on Nevsky Prospekt in not the best weather, the Stroganov Palace visit will not only dispel the sadness from the wet weather, but also leave a great impression.

  • Very beautiful facades and interesting interiors. Entrance from the Nevsky prospect from under the arch
  • It is not as amasing as i hoped for
  • Nice view
  • An excellent Museum, where you can get acquainted with the history of the genus Stroganov. I recommend you take the tour. Few people even on the weekends, although undeservedly. There's definitely something to look at. The Palace has several dozen restored rooms 18-19 centuries.
