  • The Palace got on operetu Silva or Korolyova Czardas, put small musical theatre. Very wonderful actors played. intermission we showed Palace, toured the halls. Guide said, much has been preserved from that time. Showed pictures of Princess Zinaida Yusupova, talked about her life. It's a pity that premises occupied by classrooms. all that was created earlier with such taste great masters, former magnificence. Need is maintained.

  • The Palace of Princess Zinaida Ivanovna, grandmother Yusupova Felix Yusupov (not to be confused with Zinaida Nikolaevna, mother of Felix). Although the Palace is a monument of Federal significance, use and provides extremely bad. Historical interiors remains a little, they amaze its beauty and richness. But the luxurious halls worth poky furniture society "Znanie", some in horrific trockne pots, lots of booths and posters close wall and backrest chairs pushed against the wall, beat off the stucco work. Very sorry that we cannot keep what was created with such love and taste. But on the tour go there recommend.

  • Went to the premiere of the musical "the night before Christmas". Frankly, the game actors very weak (except hell, Devils always superb), as if rehearsing, not act before the full room. Sound is two small speakers, the acoustics in the Hall no; chairs old and uncomfortable, well at least the place behind the columns don't sell) at the buffet you can enjoy instant coffee with pastries, cakes and sandwiches. In the intermission in open for visiting the halls of guides hold briefing on life of Zinaida Ivanovna, very briefly. Interesting Palace that nearly all new and not finishing those distant 60-ies the 19 century. In the mirror on the grand staircase, you can detect the hole from combat. As a result, whenever we visited this Palace is not known; and here's an idea for. ..

  • Beautiful building and decor. A must if visiting St Petersburg!
  • A very interesting "small" palace once the home of Rasputin. Very opulent rooms. Very busy at most times. Guided tours have to be booked and as there are so many taking place at the same time you are whisked around quite quickly. Even so the tour will take over an hour.
  • Palace is really interesting, beautiful interiors, but there are almost no paintings left. I don't really know if they were stolen during 90-ies or they are exposed in Hermitage. And I was disappointed that Rasputin excursion is available only from 5 pm
  • A lovely palace with some beautifully decorated rooms, there is a very good audio guide available in multiple languages and unlike most audio guides this one doesn't drone on for too long or hinder your progress through the museum. The Yusupov palace was much quieter than some of the other palaces we visited which was a nice change as if you time it right you can avoid all the large cruise tour groups. Some areas were closed for refurbishment whilst we were there and the art gallery exhibit was still being finished however.
  • A very nice example of a small palace. Lots of art works. Famed for where Rasputin was murdered.
