  • Want to learn more about the great emperor, be sure to visit this small but important Museum. Survived until our days a genuine House of the founder of our city perfectly describes the identity of the emperor. Total 4 rooms, and how much history! In the House you enter, will only be able to view in large open window. See the boat, which your own hands did Peter Alekseyevich! Better go with excursion, so you will be more clear. • In December visited the House of Peter I-first summer housing Czar in St. Petersburg. This small wooden cottage with a view of the Peter and Paul Fortress was built by carpenters in just three days at the location specified by the King himself. Peter personally cared about preserving the history of its first "Palace". At his direction, above the Lodge erected a shelter-pouch, which is then replaced by a stone and expanded. And at the end of the 19 century plot fenced beautiful cast iron with gold bars, smashed a small garden and erected a bronze bust of Peter the great in the lodge a few rooms-a bedroom, dining room, bedroom, canopy. There are many personal belongings of Peter: Red tunic of cloth manufactured by Peter Chair of pear tree, box pipe, a walking stick with a black lacquered handle, built himself a King Wherry boat on which he was passing across the Neva. And yet there is a plaster cast of the hand. Hand King was small, considering that its growth-2 m 4 cm, as exemplified by the bronze plaque at the entrance and the mark on the door of the House. Looking at this small humble House, it is hard to believe that the King lived here, a huge country and the founder of the great city.

  • Really liked the House of Peter the first, this is what we were looking for a saved landmark. The place where you can plunge into the past, to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of those years. Very recommend fans and lovers of history. Enjoyed the tour, learned a lot of interesting things.
