  • This log cabin is famous because it was the first residence of Tsar Peter the great. The House incorporates an izba, a traditional Russian country house from the 17th century in which they were included elements of Dutch Baroque so loved by the Tsar. Inside the cabin there are three rooms furnished as at that time: a living room, a bedroom and a study. There are also personal and household effects owned and used by Pietro. In 1711 the House was moved from its original location near the Winter Palace to where you are now. Similar homes to these were built by Peter the great in other parts of Russia as Vologda and Voronez with the purpose to remember significant dates in Russian history. Although the story of the House I think it is "excessive" go on purpose to see it: If you're in the area please stop by, if you must go there specially think ... for what you see.

  • Visited with his wife, everyone enjoyed it. Especially see nothing (all modestly) but lived Peter, admission 150 rubles necessary to visit who was not.

  • Want to learn more about the great emperor, be sure to visit this small but important Museum. Survived until our days a genuine House of the founder of our city perfectly describes the identity of the emperor. Total 4 rooms, and how much history! In the House you enter, will only be able to view in large open window. See the boat, which your own hands did Peter Alekseyevich! Better go with excursion, so you will be more clear.
