  • A beautiful palace, generally without the huge crowds of tourists that you find in so many palaces in St. Petersburg. Staff is excellent.
  • Palace of Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich, a son of Emperor Alexander II, was built in a historicising style then fashionable. Now it houses the House of scientists who carefully keeps the Interior halls and great rooms. I am still impressed! In the halls, there are also concerts and exhibitions of artists. Of them declare in an urban Billboard, as well as directly at the House of scientists.

  • Long were online, how to get here during the Christmas holidays, because officially, these dates do not House Museum works, but accidentally revealed that, if this day passes or concert performance. Came an hour before the concert, buy a ticket directly at the inspection, and we had all this time to explore. So we got there for a long time in planning, tentatively looking at the site and saw the schedule of events. Decorations are amazed by the splendor and luxury. There are oak room, East, for example. Interior shot of Sherlock Holmes and Mata Hari. And what is most interesting and valuable, all survived intact. And the House itself miraculously survived (or Sphinxes) during the war. I must say that we in this lucky day because it turned out a couple wishing to explore the House, and we conducted a tour of a wonderful woman in charge of the group. Thanks great! Because it told a lot of interesting things from life as the House itself and its famous inhabitants. My husband and I gladly recommend this place to visit. Ticket cost only 100 rubles. Ask necessarily excursion!
