Specialty Museum
Have some old-school fun and see what the world of arcade games looked like behind the Iron Curtain at Museum of soviet arcade machines. Here you won't find any of the well-known game titles from the West. Instead, the museum offers a rare opportunity to play a series of original products of the Soviet gaming industry on the authentic machines of the era. For an enhanced sensation of the bygone days there is also a restored Soviet soda vending machine that you can use. The admission fee for the museum includes a handful of old USSR kopeck coins on which the machines run. While some games might be difficult to understand without some knowledge of Russian, most are self-explanatory and can be fully enjoyed by everyone. • What Soviet Arcade Machines lack in playability and fun, this museum more than makes up for in loving, tongue-in-cheek curation. With English explanations of what you're playing and well kept machines...  more »
  • For me this place opened my 11-year-old daughter). I never thought that today's generation can get involved in the games of my childhood, when it seemed like fiction) Mood is absolutely awesome! Well done-be able to create such atmospheric place-this is worth a lot! feeling light of nostalgia for the Soviet era and childhood, coupled with a wonderful mood!

  • Been reading a lot about this Museum and finally decided to visit with friends. It is located on Konyushennaya square yard. Ticket cost 400 rubles. For this amount you will get 15 coins, which rasplachivaesh'sja in vending machines. For sparkling water from the machine it is necessary to pay separately (50 rubles). The collection includes various Soviet machines: battleship, hockey, volleyball, soccer, racing, hunting, rifle. In some you can play alone or together. In General, good time, hours at all the games we had. Did not like that about 1/3 machines do not work.

  • Fun way to spend an hour or two playing Soviet arcade games. Large number of games to choose from. Entry ticket includes tokens for the games. Access via gate from main street to open courtyard.
  • All machines are real. You get about 50 tickets for 450 rubles to play. If some coins are left you can save them at the reception for the next time. Also can buy watch Montana for 500 rubles.
  • my favourite place in St. Petersburg. fun, nostalgic games, candy and soda, really helpful staff... located in a cool old warehouse building with spacious feel... Giant chess board makes you feel like Kasparov for a moment. Don't miss this place
  • Fun place to try old soviet arcade machines. Worth visit and spend about an hour with a kid or as a grown-up kid
  • Quite fun to visit however quite a few of the machines are either repeated throughout the museum or don't work.
