  • Pyotr kuzmich Pakhtusov lived a short life. He was born in kronstadt, graduated from College, whose Navigator now and there is a monument. Not the Admiral and not a senior officer, and did a lot. The Islands are named after him, mountains, Lake, Bay or Strait Street in Arkhangelsk, where he is buried.

  • Visiting kronstadt, completely ignorant about this monument. But drew attention to it, when walking near the Italian Palace. About the monument permanently stop tourist groups and guides necessarily talk about it. Monument of P.k. Pahtusovu, resident of Kronstadt, researcher of new land, set in the year 1886. On its pedestal cast lyrics: "use. Courage. Labour ". Pakhtusov is depicted with a map of the new Earth that is deployed to the Far limit of his works (later this little archipelago in honour of the valiant Polar Explorer was named Pahtusova Islands). The monument was erected on the funds collected colleagues Peter Kuzmich Pahtusova. Nine years ran a fundraiser. Kronstadt navigators transferred 1% of its coastal content.

  • Monument to Peter the Pahtusovu installed in the appropriate location, in the city of military glory, which is the birthplace of the Explorer of the new Earth. A decent man for 35 years of living did a lot of geographical discoveries.
