  • conducts tours. Excellent guide Zherikhina Elena Igorevna — well-known historian, author of numerous books about Petersburg. The war Minister's Mansion-House in the Centre of the city, founded on the idea of the great reformer of the Russian army, d. a. Milyutina. Two-storey house (1872-1874) is well preserved to our time. Tastefully decorated ceremonial and private rooms look to the gardens of the engineering Castle and Champ de Mars. In this House you can admire the historical interiors. Submitted by a bit of furniture of the era. Really enjoyed the story about the House. All recommend.
