  • Liteyny bridge is established where the greatest depth had Neva-the 24 meters. And it got its name in honor of the casting yard, where the guns were cast during the reign of Peter the great from the yard has disappeared, but the name stuck not only over the bridge, but also for the Foundry Street. If you walk along the Vyborg side and get off at the bridge, it offers one of the most fascinating species at Saint Petersburg. On the way you can admire the beautiful openwork lattices, which graced the Foundry made the drawings of architect C.c. Rahau. The two mermaids holding a shield with the coat of arms of St. Petersburg, and their tails are woven in decorative floral design. Foundry plant once a day, though, raise only one partition, that is, of course, looks not so striking as the two vzmyvajushhih up wing of the Palace.

  • In the tourist season the most tranquil of the bridges of St. Petersburg, while preserving the charm of the city. Fishermen, tourists, passers-by-most often it's the locals, not tourists. Cons: lack of toilets (only in cafes), the lack of trash cans. But the lovely summer sunsets. It makes sense to go further in the direction of the Smolny 800 meters.
