  • Another strange view of the city. If you are a lover of history well worth deviating from the traditional tourist circuits and have a view of the Kresty prison. Originally the place was dedicated to producing wines since the 18th century, being converted into a prison in the middle of 1800, function which still meets. As well as the Peter and Paul Fortress prison, it housed political personalities of the time Tsarist and revolutionary, as Trotsky, Gumilyov and Akhmatova. During the Stalinist was incarceration of the sadly famous Cheka or State police headquarters. Its facade is visible from the other side of the River (Center) where a viewpoint is the figure of the poet Ana Akhmatova and two unique Sphinxes representing life and death.

  • Sitting there in the year 2013, and that's what I can tell, all super, better detention facility have not yet come across in life-friendly staff, clean rooms with euro repair, full board meals from chef, there is the possibility of access to the gym, for good behavior games from premiruût x-box or sony playstation! Oh and posh views of the historic centre of Saint Petersburg and Neva River-this is a separate issue! ... But everything was good, the evening constantly wifi and so would put five balls! All advise, as if the House was visited!
