  • to the bitter can be treated differently, but for the fact that the 1-th years of the Soviet regime it was on his personal initiative of this Palace of Prince Vladimir was transferred to ' House of scientists ', many thanks! Perhaps that is why many interiors including furniture reached the ' present day ' and thus all this splendor, you can browse in the open for visiting access! It is a pity that the excursions are conducted by only once a week on Saturday at 12-00 and buy tickets for it in principle impossible!))) -You can only sign up and get your tickets only on the spot! Good that you can call in advance and confirm that you have made to the list and you will not in vain! ... About the museum itself can speak long and many epithets and the type of exceptional, luxuriously, etc very poorly reflect what you see! -' little Hermitage ' nothing less! ... I can only note that the stratification of the society at that time reached such a peak that apparently passing through the halls and listening to the story of the Guide did not willingly, but consistently throughout the tours, catching myself thinking that, revolution 1917 g. apparently happened is not accidental! -Definitely recommend a visit! P.s. Special thanks to guide-maintainer! So many interesting information ' not received ' probably never!

  • One of the great palaces of St. Petersburg, which with small losses remained almost intact. You can visit before the concert or, much better, in the excursions. We were lucky with the Guide. Lyudmyla was so excited to share their knowledge with us, that we had in the Palace much longer than planned, and then another spoke in the Hall after the end. Thank you very much! One story of the Vladimir tiara pulls on a separate lecture. Already the third week I read from various sources about the Vladimirovichej, the role of Maria Pavlovna and a small yard in predrevoljucionnyh events.

  • Visited in the Vladimir Palace Saturday, 5 August, with excursion. Recommend you to come as we did, for a few days and ask for protection Pro next excursion date (default is conducted once a week). You can take your phone number and sign up, you can come without (as did we). Adult tickets cost 400 p/person. In this place you should go with a guided tour. You will learn about the personality of Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich, tell you in detail about all the Chambers and possibly hold to the library and restaurant (unless visitors). We were lucky, we saw all the available rooms. Each rest amazes with. The impression that you are in a precious casket or in egg Faberge. Each room is decorated in its own style. Amaze Russian oak dining room, library, a Moorish boudoir and, of course, the main staircase with gorgeous mirrors. Walking through the halls without excursions will be is not very interesting, no printouts of halls no way and no plaques with the names of the rooms. Young girl-guide will suggest to be confident in your knowledge, do not show their insecurities about a given subject or date. Thank you for saving and running just wishing this wonderful place!
