  • Located near Pine city. The former Institute for noble maidens, then Petrograd Soviet of workers ' and soldiers ' deputies. There was held the first Congress of Soviets and formed the first Soviet Government led by Vladimir Lenin, now a Museum and St. Petersburg Administration. For all this building is the cradle of the revolution.

  • Rather, it's two little Exposition than a full-fledged Museum. The first cabinet and first apartment of Lenin in Smolny. But the excursion goes 1.5 full hours. No revelations is not worth waiting for those interested in the history of his country, but to see it all with your own eyes is very interesting. Note the portrait of Ilyich at the entrance in the first cabinet. Wrote it from nature and I think it is different from the canonical images of Lenin. You should pay attention to the portrait of Valentina Matvienko. Zafotošopili to gasp .... to put it mildly. Even something as awkward to look at it. .... Modern places show just two rooms. The main ballroom and meeting room. In the Cabinet of the Governor is not allowed. ...

  • With only 2 days left we skipped the classics (Hermitage es) and preferred to know the history of the country. This museum and little frequented and only accepts visits by small groups. We were 3 with a private guide. We felt part of the revolution ... For connoisseurs and tourists atypical
