  • Historical Museum of the Russian Navy, interesting for lovers of history and of the 2 world wars. several models of ships and Russian submarines. The only problem that the captions are written in Cyrillic, then almost impossible to understand. you only see if you truly love the genre.

  • Interesting for fans of the Navy military museum. It is not an extensive exhibition area but it is interesting to understand the evolution of the Navy in Russia and then the Soviet Union. Everything starts from Peter the great, it was he who discovered that the sea could be a means to communicate and trade better. He himself had gained experience in the Netherlands, receiving a diploma of shipbuilder and afterwards gave great impetus to the formation of a Merchant Navy and until then non-existent. What impressed me the most is of course the collection of artifacts from the 1908 Messina earthquake, pictures of the sailors of the Russian fleet in aid to the population, diploma of merit issued by Vittorio Emanuele III in Thanksgiving and sculpture as a gift. These were delivered to a delegation from the Russian fleet in subsequent visits with the famous Cruiser Aurora.
