Несколько раз пытались попасть в этот музей. Вход найти непросто. Видимо, администрация не ставит цели привлечь посетителей. Скорее, наоборот. Но настойчивым открываются необычные возможности. But persistent open unusual opportunities. Firstly, in the Museum it is poorly populated. Secondly, in search of the Museum you can go on building Academy, which certainly represents a model of high quality architecture. The Museum, even losing many masterpieces in the Soviet period, is full of beautiful things, eye-catching. Very happy coming here.show original

Ставлю пятерку за труд людей. История музея и его состояние довольно грустные: сначала он имел 30 залов, был богат и красив, но после революции коллекция в массе своей была передана Эрмитажу, остались... read more »Put five for work people. History of the Museum and its status is quite sad: at first he had 30 halls, was rich and beautiful, but after the revolution the collection was largely given to the Hermitage, were just some of the exhibits. The halls also became significantly less. During the years of Soviet power from 1917 to 1943 the Museum was closed, as an educational institution. After the opening of the Academy, part of the premises and halls were given to students for the restoration. On the photos you can see that the beautiful wall with paintings of the 19th century painted white (on the cultural value of novoispečennoe State cared not very much). But, as I have already noted the production of masters and students part of the paint was removed and restored. But not all. Work is taking place to this day. Furthermore students painting now do not allow, they only remove the top layer of white paint. At the exhibition there are Articles XVI-XX centuries. Also presents works of students. Visit worth it better tour. While the Museum is open (and everything can change) need to go there. Admission is 200-300 rubles. Sorry lost beauty, but that the Museum operates. The building itself was built on money industrialist Stieglitz specifically for educational institution, wherever taught artistic skills. The Museum is located on the territory of the Academy, in the current academic building. You need to go through Fontanka River from the summer garden to the Church of the Holy great martyr and healer Panteleimon, the building behind the Cathedral.show original
