  • A small museum and former home of the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin. An english language audio guide explains each room and tells the story of Pushkin's life and tragic death (in a duel).  more »
  • I wish to draw attention to the fact that the Museum on Moika EMB. 12 there are two excursions: directly through the apartment of Pushkin with a story about his last days of life (duration 45 minutes, guided tours cost 220 USD) and one floor above a few halls about the life and creative path of the poet (1:20, guided tours cost 200 USD). We took two in succession. This recall will cover the second excursion. She liked me less because we were unlucky with a guide who inexpressive monotonously gave some scraps of facts, to a greater extent even about Pushkin's time, than about the personality of the poet. Some halls we walked through without lingering, since according to the Guide for an hour and a half still not covered. Unfortunately, after a tour in the head did not have a solid picture, I felt not the poet, not to learn it better: ( Most of all I remember the temporary exhibition "not a House and a toy", where one of the Naschekina (a friend of Pushkin) in miniature. In his time He laid out for this toy 40000 USD (for the money you could buy a normal House), because in all copies present: piano playing, shoot guns, etc. This temporary exhibition will run until may 2017 onwards. Guess with another guide can be much more interesting, because in itself it seems a curious exhibition, presented many exhibits.

  • A very interesting Museum, albeit small. Enthusiastic guides who get sick. An incredible experience!

  • V1727 g. House and Cherkasova (not save) 1740-e rebuilt. From 1806 the House of princes Volokonskih. 12 September 1836, moved the family here a. s. Pushkin. After the poet's death the House was not rebuilt once. His house changed owners and the building was reconstructed. In 1925, the Pushkin apartment Museum was created. But by the time the Pushkin apartment no longer existed: at the perestrrjki building in 1910, was destroyed, in the steps of the ceremonial apartments has come a long corridor, a new ladder two rooms separated from the rest of the apartment. The Museum went to plan zdelannyj Zhukovsky in February 1837, after the death of the poet. In 1937, the centenary of the death of Pushkin, Zhukovsky plan were reinstated 7 rooms. By 1965, not only the Cabinet but others have rooms they may be during the life of the poet Alexander Pushkin.

  • Visited the Museum accompanied by Guide Alexander Kurochkin. Remained in awe! And to a large extent on the stylistics digression Alexandra! The first few minutes he shocking special manner of presentation, but when you get used to it, you realize that immersed in the atmosphere of the home, Interior items and historical events of previous years. Places resistant to tear, so touching and heartfelt Alexander recounting his Tesco Pushkin. All recommend! Excursion lasts not long, and impressions will suffice for the whole day. Especially, if you are lucky with a guide like me ...

  • If you will not be able to take the Guide (only possible with a local guide for a definite period of time, a limited number of people per group), take the audioguide, go with it, you can at any time, is the most expensive ticket at 100 rubles, but you will not regret it, maybe this option is even better, because at any moment you can pause the recording, linger in the room and consider the Interior items longer. A detailed description of all rooms, personal belongings, the history of the last days of life. Recommend!

  • Better to take an excursion than the audioguide. It will be much more interesting. This is one of those museums, where you want to go back again.

  • A very interesting place, despite the fact that Pushkin spent little time here. The guide told me everything is very interesting.
