Stalin's Summer Residence, Sochi
(3.2/5 based on 180+ reviews on the web)
At Stalin's Summer Residence, sit on the dictator's couch, and touch his leather jacket and other personal belongings. Painted green for camouflage, the house on top of the ridge is surrounded by palms and cedars. Inside the dark interior, you'll see heavy curtains, redwood furniture, a pool 1.52 m (5 ft) deep, and a small army cot. A wax figure of Stalin sits in his study. According to rumor, Stalin haunts the house. The complex features a hotel and a restaurant where you can sample homemade eastern dishes. • There are not that many places to visit in Sochi. Stalin's summer house located 30 minutes from the city center, is one of the more interesting historical sites in Sochi. Painted completely dark green...  more »
  • If you will be able to get here with excursion-come. For having a rest in sanatorium "Green grove" excursion cost 100 rubles. For visitors are available far from all the rooms, but with a guide if you're lucky, it will still be interesting.

  • Take a guided tour. Rooms show a bit. The information is quite interesting, but too little. A nice touch to the story)
