  • The main sight of the city-fortress "Oreshek", located on the island, to which every 30 minutes ply boats. On the fortress fun walking tour, which absolutely free offer at the entrance. Interestingly, the fortress for many years not only served as defensive structures, but also had on its territory a few prison buildings, which contained many famous prisoners from a historical perspective: from the 1-St wife of Peter, the heir of John Antonovich, Biron and dolgoruky to Decembrists, people and Alexander Ulyanov.

  • Many times happened in St. Petersburg, but never managed to visit the fortress oreshek (the weather is bad, not the season). But this year, that opportunity finally appeared! No grudge about the trip! Approximately 1.5 hours by hydrofoil -2 along the Neva and there you are. Interesting story very dark fortress, which was most of the time the camera survived a prison for political prisoners. At the same time inside the fortress completely unique, in my opinion, monument wars of the great patriotic war (the defenders of ways of life)-inside the destroyed Temple. Really enjoyed the walk around the fortress on the shore of the Ladoga Lake. In General, do not want to compare this with other attractions of Castle Pieter (Peterhof and Pushkin for me every time required to visit!), but it is unusual and interesting, if you have the time, desire, and opportunity to show not only the "White Nights"-recommend a visit.

  • An interesting trip. The fortress is connected with the history of Russia, and with the great patriotic war. Here in 1764 was former Emperor John Sixth Antonovich

  • August 23, 2016 were to reach the fortress is only sitting at the local ship on the Quay in the town of Shlisselburg. Go about 7 minutes. Tickets cost 250 roubles, per adult, roundtrip. In the fortress itself bought another ticket for 200 rub. Already included guided tours on the hour. Highly recommend listening to the Guide. In addition to historical significance, offers beautiful views of the Lake Ladoga, and also seen way of life, which was able to withstand the Blockaded Leningrad.

  • Reach the fortress you can now and from the village of them. Morozova (and there by train from Finland railway station to Petrokrepost). M/v "Surefire" leaves every 40 minutes from the pier. Worth 250 rubles for "back and forth". But you will not be able to then swim away from the island in Shlisselburg! The ticket is only valid on one direction! Admission fee for adults is 200 roubles. Every half hour-hour from portal Tower sent the excursion. Very interesting excursion. Takes about an hour. The fortress has something to tell. Part of the walls and towers restored. In one place open passage on the wall. It's also interesting to wander through the Chambers in new and secret prison. You can bypass the fortress from the outside (approximately 20 minutes), with views of Lake Ladoga. Everything works till 19.00.

  • 2016. the ticket (also on tour) was worth this season 200 rubles per adult, the remaining 100 rubles. Decent toilet closed Cafe (?) not seen: probably footbridge opposite the Church-and have it. In General, whom it scares-don't go. The rest-there's very interesting! Medieval fortress, which during the second world nor for the day was not seized by the Nazis to her visit. A large part of the exterior walls restored, but all in the courtyard as remained after the war. Here the war led the defense of Soviet soldiers, most of whom stayed here forever. Views of the ruined walls, a monument to heroism of the defenders of the fortress made in the Church of that relates directly to their feat-mesh. A history of the ancient fortress, and preserved the Royal prison and jail for critical and political prisoners here was awarded Swedish peace which lasted 300 years.
