Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4.2/5 based on 180+ reviews on the web
Put yourself in the center of Samara's activity at Kubychev Square, one of the largest town plazas in the world. Though the square itself spreads over 8 hectares (20 acres), the surrounding gardens and buildings make it appear even larger. Wander the plaza and have a look at the concrete, Stalinist architecture along its borders. Then, you can walk through the nearby grassy areas, which sometimes feature art exhibits. The area is generally used for parades and other public gatherings, but also sees plenty of daily pedestrian traffic.
