4.7/5 based on 360+ reviews on the web
Explore the source of marble used in some of the most significant buildings in the city, such as St. Isaac's Cathedral, the floors of the Kazan Cathedral, and the window sills of the Hermitage at Ruskeala Mountain Park. This park features a viewing platform showcasing panoramic views and a walking trail leading to the former marble quarry, now filled with water. Rent a boat and sail around the lake or sit on the benches scattered throughout the park. Many parts of the trail can get slippery because of the water, so watch your footing and be mindful of young children. • At the exit of the village of Ruskeala, after the bridge over the river Tohmajoki, is entering the Mountain Park Ruskeala-Pearl of the Northern Ladoga region. On a well landscaped laid excellent track, on which you can bypass all the attractions of this beautiful natural monument and mining. On a pretty decent area before entering the Mountain Park are craft series, workshops, free car park, cafe. Entrance to the Park. Here you can leisurely stroll in solitude, and with children, in a group with a guide, look at the beauty of the Park, its history-in many places, especially near the review sites, installed information boards, guides lead excursions very professionally, still tell many interesting things on the history of the creation of the Park, etc. you can try audacity, flying at high speed over the Park on the "string"-strong rope , stretched over Marble Canyon will take you directly to the park entrance.

  • A delightful place! Bought a two-day tour to KareliâGid. With accommodation and a visit to the Park Now. The road from Peter took more than three hours (although the thought would be faster), but it was worth it! Clean air, blue water, bungee jumping and the abyss of sensations! Fell in love with Karelia at first sight!

  • Visited the Park in September. Very lucky with the weather-it was sunny all day and we were able to enjoy this golden autumn, but by the evening became cool and already wanted to get on the bus and soon warm up 8) think that in the warmer months, this is a great place for a stroll. In the Park a lot of fun, but you need to be prepared to shell out for them. Also on the territory of the park there are cafes and souvenir shops. Just go to him from St. Petersburg for a long time. It is better to plan a trip for a whole weekend with overnight in the nearby Recreation Center.
