(4.8/5 based on 380+ reviews on the web)
Explore the source of marble used in some of the most significant buildings in the city, such as St. Isaac's Cathedral, the floors of the Kazan Cathedral, and the window sills of the Hermitage at Ruskeala Mountain Park. This park features a viewing platform showcasing panoramic views and a walking trail leading to the former marble quarry, now filled with water. Rent a boat and sail around the lake or sit on the benches scattered throughout the park. Many parts of the trail can get slippery because of the water, so watch your footing and be mindful of young children. • Miraculous completion of vacation this year happened in Karelia. Groggy in ruskeala and donated. The Park is very beautiful. Wandered on different routes. Though a bit chilly, soglrevalis' hot tea in a cafe at the entrance to the Park. Turned out wonderful photo of Golden autumn in Italian career. You can take a boat to swim in the cave, But decided to do it in the summer. All lovers of the Karelian nature. I think that would be great at any time of the year.

  • A couple of hours you can spend here: walk, pofotkat'sja, jump with a rope, ride a trollee, etc. Everything correctly and without obloma, if you go by car and you did not last long. And if driving from St. Petersburg that is already testing and fun little. By the way, here and with no power to say chic: fast food alot.

  • Were in the Park in October-Golden autumn. Beautifully. Took a tour (joined-400r./person). A good tour, learned a lot of interesting historical facts about marble in particular. It is felt that the place of the spiral and he has a great future. Parking is expanding, cafes, souvenir shops, bungee jumping, horse rope over a Lake, boat tours ... In winter, too, must be very beautiful! Sorry, closed the rink in the cave soon there will open walkway. And promised to expand the tour-add abandoned mines. In the meantime, they can walk on their own. If the weather is good, it is interesting to walk on their own. After the tour. That took a tour-donated. Although, if you read everything on the Internet itself, it is possible and without excursions. Boating not skated-froze. But probably nicely at the bottom look at Marble Mountain. Jumping rope and descent-on the fan. :) After the tour the tasty meal at the nearest outdoor café-roasted over a campfire fish and salad. It is a good idea.
