  • The monastery is on the outskirts of the city, we came on foot from the Centre. Entered the Gate Church ... Very friendly sisters! In my soul there comes a calmness and peacefulness that didn't even want to leave! If you came in pants, skirts have a monastery. Highly recommend getting to the monastery!

  • Honestly, it is very painful to see this ancient abode in such a sad state. It is likely to repair and refurbish, but lost so much ... Take a small porch or front limit, which so far is added to, and judging by the old pictures placed on the territory of the monastery, it was and was very beautiful, I'm not talking about architectural perfection of the Church. It is worth noting that earlier monastery was male, but after the revolution became female. Suppose it is nurses and Abbess we owe that to our days "remnants of a bygone luxury." Avian patio, pond and a small housing for nuns, I notice. Despite the fact that this monastery just want comfort, as poranivšegosâ child, believes he will rise and shine its grandeur on the land of Rostov.

  • The monastery looks more modest than men's monastery in Rostov (and even more so-the Kremlin), but he is no less picturesque. Atmosphere and the cemetery on the patio. The road to the monastery of specific-runs along an abandoned fence go it is very unusual, but not scary.
