  • The five-domed Stone Temple. The plan has the shape of a cross, the Cathedral built in the Russo-Byzantine style. Three-tier iconostasis in the eastern part of the Cathedral is designed as a chapel, topped with hipped roof and Spire. On a farmstead of the Cathedral is located three temples: the Cathedral itself, a small ritual Temple in the name of John the Baptist and St. Nicholas krestil′nâ; as well as a Bell Tower and a few office buildings: Diocesan Administration, the residence of the Bishop of Rostov Eparchy, the Office and the Diocesan departments and commissions; spiritual-educational center in the name of St. Demetrius, Metropolitan of Rostov, Rostov-na-Donu and printing shops of church utensils and spiritual literature.

  • It is a pity that it was not possible to assess fully the Cathedral because at the time of the visit, during the reconstruction of the temple. Located on the territory of the temple bells of various sizes. Very glad that I was able to venerate the relics of St. Catherine.
