Aeolian Harp, Pyatigorsk
(4.6/5 based on 150+ reviews on the web)
Nestled among lush greenery atop a hill overlooking the town, Aeolian Harp plays ethereal melodies and offers views of the areas below. Built in 1831, this gazebo structure once contained a real instrument that emitted harmonic frequencies when wind would blow. Today the music still plays, but it's produced by modern means independent of the wind. The pavilion also features atmospheric lighting. Dress warmly, as it can get cool at the site. Using our custom trip planner, Pyatigorsk attractions like Aeolian Harp can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Got there only in the evening. The place is very romantic, beautiful views from the site. It was the first attraction we visited and we were pleasantly surprised. Harp itself beautifully illuminated at night, the music plays. All very harmoniously)

  • Oil painting! Chic look! This is exactly what David said Markovic would have if rose here. It has a really great view of the city and surroundings. Beautiful harp, good music, fresh air and benches for rest. You will love here, Yes, and a walk through mountainous terrain and fresh air too. Pleasant journeys.

  • Melodic music creates in the soul elevated feelings. Everything recalls M.y. Lermontov. Immersed in the magical atmosphere of his poetry: "Blue Caucasus! Salute you!"
