Aeolian Harp, Pyatigorsk

Categories: Architectural Buildings, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4.7/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web
Nestled among lush greenery atop a hill overlooking the town, Aeolian Harp plays ethereal melodies and offers views of the areas below. Built in 1831, this gazebo structure once contained a real instrument that emitted harmonic frequencies when wind would blow. Today the music still plays, but it's produced by modern means independent of the wind. The pavilion also features atmospheric lighting. Dress warmly, as it can get cool at the site. Using our custom trip planner, Pyatigorsk attractions like Aeolian Harp can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • One of the favorite places in Pyatigorsk. In sunny windless weather you can sit on a bench and enjoy views of the Elbrus. And of course, the construction itself is very beautiful. Recommend for contemplation)))
