  • The Cathedral is located in the center of the square. Around the Park, many moms with kids. Very nice classic five-domed Russian Cathedral. Unfortunately, it was closed-repairs (judging from the forests and construction materials around). Inside there is a Museum, but he, too, was closed.

  • This Cathedral is built the "whole world" literally: brick by brick from many residents of Pushkin, Yes, Pushkin. I really don't like when in different social networks are different people create groups and write "Tsarskoe Selo"-we do not take such a title and is not in the modern history of the city, and who so insists-stranger and probably wants to "not worse than others". So, funds collected in many institutions and just in public places-1000 roubles/1 brick. The bricks even signed, but now they all of course plaster the same.. First cathedral was red, in scaffolding. Then I remember raised copper domes scallions onlookers gathered to gawk. Then the walls plastered. Discreetly and gilding of the dome. The area around was formed. That's the bottom line? In the end, on an old historical place is once again the temple, visible in clear weather the long way around. Inside, contrary to expectations for such officially-solemn places unexpectedly warm and cozy, and the truth is probably the place you chose good and people is not a gift, use the administrative resource was the place. That's nice. To summarize: 're in Pushkin, nagulâetes′ city, go to the Palace and maybe even "Lyceum (the most advanced tourists know who Pushkin was and what he did here), do not hurry at once on the bus or train-take a stroll through the city centre-it is very small and intimate, and here the truth is that show. Ekaterininsky Cathedral for example.

  • Remember the year before, it was a monument to Lenin V.v. and just prosilos′ on this place something big and majestic. And then finally was re-established, on the site of the previous Cathedral, built in the 19th century, and exploded in the year 1939. Now in the Cathedral Museum opened a small exhibit on the history of the construction of the Cathedral.
