4.8/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web
Located inside the Pskov kremlin at the confluence of the Velikaya and Pskova rivers, Trinity Cathedral serves as one of city's major sights. The 17th-century cathedral is the latest in a long history of churches that have occupied this location since the 10th century. With its characterisitc onion-shaped domes, the cathedral serves as a fine example of the Russian style of architecture. Step inside to see a rich collection of orthodox ecclesiastic art, most notably the ornate iconostases. The tomb of 12th-century ruler Vsevolod Mstislavich, also known as St. Gavriil of Pskov, is also housed inside the cathedral. The spot is a place of worship, so be sure to dress appropriately and act respectfully during your visit. • One of the most beautiful places in the whole of the Pskov region and Russia! I advise everyone to visit! Very beautiful iconostasis, walls of the temple are not specifically itemized, so as not to distract from the iconostasis!
