  • In ancient Russian cities was taken to build a church at the end or beginning of the street to going on it seen its façade in front of him. About this talk to tourists in Velikiy Novgorod, at the same time lamenting that already at the time of Peter the great, and especially Catherine this custom was breached and the Church lost its traditional "core" provisions and often moved to the backyard later buildings or streets. Apparently, the same game with the tradition was and in Pskov, which has suffered over the past century even greater Novgorod. Nice to see the new facility, built according to ancient traditions.

  • At the beginning of the 21 century, erected in remembrance of Russian Princess Olga. It is considered a must place to visit newlyweds.

  • Neat new Chapel in memory of Princess Olga, allegedly with this coast three white light beam and the velevshej lay the Trinity Cathedral. Interesting observation deck-great views of the river and the Kremlin. Don't know why this kind of spoiled trite says "Russia starts here", but still so badly executed, but it's a disease of modern domestic tourism, so let us not to touch the sore points. It seems to me more interesting to start sightseeing in Pskov for this Chapel-remember the legend of Princess Olga, on the basis of Pskov, look at sunset panorama. And then you can go to Chrome.
