  • A small fortress, with beautiful views all around. Walk around the territory will take no more than 30-40 minutes. Nothing to write home about.

  • The fortress itself was small and not outstanding, but it is an interesting small museum and Exposition. After visiting the Museum I personally embrace respect for the history of the city of Priozersk and its inhabitants. • Northwest Novgorod fortress was built to protect their borders from the Swedes. It was made of wood, and the sand and walls and wooden buildings were burnt in the fire. In the stone fortress put the Swedes. In this fortress, revamped in jail, kept two wives e. Pugachyova and children. Here contained the Decembrists ... Owned these lands and the fortress and the Finns. Now fortress is a historical and local history museum. We visited the korela consisting of excursions in Karelia.
