Sit back, relax, and enjoy views of the lake, or walk among a collection of modern sculptures at City Park and Embankment. Look for the statue of the fishermen, a gift from the city of Duluth, Minnesota and the first modern sculpture in the park that started the tradition of exchanging sculptures with sister-cities. The park is perfect for open-air activities and features some exercise machines you can use for free. Use the free Wi-Fi available throughout and enjoy a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants. The park also hosts big city events and its pier is a starting point for a number of boat tours. • A walk along the promenade Onežskoj I started from the hotel "Karelia", by which flows the River Salmon fishermen along the way, there are no fish! Fresh air, waves smashing on rocks, sand with rolled dry trees, ducks. On the embankment of the many memorable attractions: pier with meteors, monuments to Peter the first, fishers, Tûbingenskoe panels, tree, gun, gym, pyramid, waist, giving birth to Petrozavodsk and so lovely walk along the shore of Lake Onega! On the way back I looked into hotel "Onego Palace" where bought some inexpensive Karelian souvenirs!

  • If you have very little time for sightseeing, go to Onežskuû. There you will see monuments, and feed lots of ducks and make beautiful photo. Very nicely. And in the evening, listen to singing bards.
