  • Wonderful place! Immediately behind the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul on the island are two wonderful Pavilion: Tsaritsyn and Holguin. Not too "untwisted" amid the tourist pilgrimage to Peterhof, but not touched by the fascists, retaining the original masterpieces. And apparently, the atmosphere of that wonderful era when quite commonplace was Prince entry in his diary: "Today Daddy gave Mommy ... Island ". It is on this island, at the request of the Queen and erected for her and Princess imitation of two Italian villas. A wonderful patio. At the entrance, notice the unique fountain "Narcissus", where the water jets, as under a glass dome, always a wonderful bouquet of flowers. Inside the Pavilion is very cute: small and cozy interiors, an unusual fountain terrace, overlooking the Lake and the patio is a wonderful sculpture and mosaics. All it really carries the beautiful Italy. Planning a trip, keep in mind that in the pavilions may get only when the good weather (if nakrapyvaet even a small rain-they close). The single tours do not have. Group, if I am not mistaken, from 6 people. Incidentally, that was there many times and I really did not like the attitude of the staff. Feeling that they are there "to otvali". And this creates considerable dissonance with the spot. But this will not stop you. Go, enjoy and take in the wonderful Italy at least briefly.

  • This is something extraordinary. Travel by train 20 min, and another on a bus thought I ... uninteresting. But I am convinced. And when it came to the territory, just flipped out. Very nice: a variety of fountains, architecture, atmosphere ... All very amazing.

  • Once again-a new again. Take your time, go for a day, do not walk around the main cascade, go far to the right and to the left-there lovely corners, paintings, fountains, amazing pine, something which we have not seen before, good podrestavrirovano and now is shown to the public. Art polardinga incredible-nowhere in our parks to see virtually impossible. And if from the main fountain go down the allejke to the left (if your back to Palace) for the angle of the first Pavilion will be cute with fountain krjakajushhimi mechanical utochkami! ☺ ️
