  • Kolonistskij Park with a pond and Ol′ginym Islands is located almost opposite the famous upper Park, but on the other side of the Peterhof road; and hidden Petropavlovsky Cathedral. To get on the island, it is necessary to bypass the Cathedral on the left come out to the pond, again left and along the coast to reach the Causeway leading to the island of Tsaritsyn. Tsaritsyn Pavilion built in the style of ancient villas. Never lived here, but only came to rest. So inside the Pavilion-antique atrium with fountain, carefully tucked above a glass dome, recreation room with sofas in three compartments, dining room, pantry, Office of the Empress, a little to the side and with a separate entrance tower with Cabinet Emperor to work and the wife not to interfere. Came here to withdraw. Beautiful Pavilion inside the unusually, including antique and brightness simultaneously with harmony of paints and a mass of details, which should be seen. Shoot are not allowed. Probably rightly so. But allowed to shoot outside in the gardens. In the Hologuín Pavilion managed to take some pictures. And an amazing view from the observation deck on the Lake and the surrounding area.

  • Dozens of times in Peterhof, and here's this time, on the recommendation of agreed to do work around tourist spots and see Peterhof unknown previously. One of these corners for me became Tsaritsyn and Holguin pavilions on the same islands. Yes, first Tsaritsyn, then Holguin, in order and status. Work with pavilions May to October (you can still catch), but only in dry weather. Entrance ticket with a visit to two pavilions worth 450 rubles (for adults). But I have no grudge. Graceful pavilions: ancient rare gizmos and trinkets, statues, fountains, sculpture, historic furniture and tableware-a place for rest and relaxation. And flowers around the pavilions is a special delight. They are the most diverse and floral smell in the garden just odurâet (02 October!). A wooden bridge leads from one island to another. At the top of the Ol'gina Pavilion there is an observation deck, but trees obscure the view of the Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul. The place is amazing!

  • Usually go to palaces and forget about those pavilions. We got there by accident and took a tour. Amazing beauty and island and pavilions, Stunning marble Think Pavilion. Well-groomed territory around. I recommend to visit their summer when everything around is in bloom.
