  • The Transfiguration Cathedral in the center of pereslavl-Zalessky the oldest Cathedral in the city. 12-century cathedrals remained a bit, one of them is the intercession on the NERL River near from Vladimir, Kidekshe and the other in the third. Strikes its cathedral dignity and concise lines, greatness and longevity.

  • Cathedral of the Transfiguration is a dominant of the historical part of the city. He's not the biggest, but the oldest, and like any ancient temple-it has a special energy, therefore so drawn again and again to come here. It should be noted that the city is very correctly identified your Pearl that she has consistently attracted the gaze of tourists-construction-free zone, night lights, giving the mystery, and the ability to take a photo with shafts, with a completely different point of view. Be in pereslavl and not visit the Cathedral-excluded

  • Well what can we say about the most oldest building/construction of the city? It grandly! No, not size or its decoration. Cathedral just enough miniatjuren (if you will) and very simplified-no expensive jewelry, gold and other cacek. Cathedral inspires respect for their age, historians call the date 1152 year-actually and the birth of the city begins with the date of its construction. The place itself is valuable in pereslavl-nearby, according to some researchers and enthusiasts, born Alexander Nevsky himself. But the Church, of course, is no longer preserved. I do not know whether, now inside the Cathedral, but I was lucky enough to be there, and even in the Gallery, where the Grand Dukes prayed. If you, dear traveller, experiencing an interest in history, do not pass by. Take a look, get inspired with the era of the middle ages. After all, in the Cathedral, little has changed since then. Put the date of the visit-January 2017, though this is not entirely correct. Often in town, and a student, so generally studied local history and was a frequent visitor of museums of the city and surrounding area.
