  • A magical place! Went to the family. everyone liked it very much. Interesting people living in Majmany Coombs which have Karakol Valley. So hospitable, friendly people, communicate with them easily, if you treat them the same way. Clean air, mountains, silence, stillness and Dag's baths. The complete absence of negative emotions. Lake Arukem. Face it, as in the ice-hole breath spiraet, not only slammed (high degrees 17-18)

  • So we visited on excursion "Karakolskiye Lakes". We started our journey with p. Jelekmonar, thence carried 15-2 hours on auto closed type (kabia with booth), then transplanted to the shishigu (Gaz-66) and started the fun))) on the trail ... Tin)) pitching, going slowly, but surely, Lawn climbs uphill. About 2:00. Then you find yourself in a beautiful place, in the mountains. go and walk on the Lakes (a total of 7, but one dried up), this grace. words cannot convey. No there is no connection. Only you, the Guide and still people from the group. Walk long, hard (stones, rather than smooth trail) and approaching each Lake you forgive everyone and everything) even delivery-trjasodostavku at shishige. Lake not far from each other, very clean, beautiful colors (as some have algae-they're green), sky-blue (reflected sky) and around mountains. ... This is a very intriguing spectacle, feel the power and energy ... On the mountains the snow (in July!), burning water is cold, but the trip is worth it. Since camping and shipping takes all day, then I would not recommended to undergo this excursion with children (up to 10 years). In the village you can drink tea and Karakol eat fried pies (30rub tea, pie with potatoes/jaco + onion-50 USD), but that during the transfer on Gaz-66. I advise you to go on an excursion in sneakers (100% as treading on the rocks), take a drink in case of rain (rain cover) and headpiece. Weather in the mountains is changing within 5 minutes (heat, go into the t-shirt, hop vetrishhe, cold-dress blouse and the like, had withdrawn-dressed-withdrew, dressed). You can enjoy instead of Gaz-66 ride on horseback or on foot. Immediately I say-go only those who prepared for such hikes and after the horses people looked funny (foot wheel, tired). Lake-ELEGANT, yet there's no people. No civilization))

  • The karakolskiye Lake is one of the attractions of the Altai Mountains, reached by two main roads. Via jelekmonar and uznezju. Jelekmonarskaja the road goes along the river end of the road on the rocks, more interesting and more beautiful route through the uznezju (and much more dirt on it). The best transport ATVs, cars of course interesting too, but when you arrive to the lakes and imagine the way even back becomes badly. On kvadrah fun and back and forth. Walking and riding course, but to each his own. Lakes are small ledges downstream, there is snow even on the dark side of the mountain, the water is clean and the air is dizzyingly heady. Place beaten frequent visitors, possibly recommend to drive on. The roads go in different directions and then few people rides, but everything is much pervozdannej! Worth a visit if you want to experience.
