Admire the mighty machines that once regularly crossed the vast expanses of Siberia and served as the only link between remote places at West Siberian Railway History Museum. The open-air museum features over 100 historical locomotives and vehicles. See old steam and electric engines, some of which are fitted with giant snowplows to serve in the harsh Siberian winters. A tour through the authentically restored train cars allows you to see how different social classes traveled--from high-ranking officials to prisoners bound for gulags. The museum also displays a collection of vintage Russian automobiles and light military vehicles. Though almost all the exhibit signs are in Russian, the exhibit is pretty self-explanatory, so don't fret if you don't understand the language.
