  • One of the symbols of Novosibirsk, located on the Red Avenue (main street). Modern replica (the original chapel was demolished in the 1930s, then on this site was a monument to Stalin, then demolished and it). A popular spot for wedding photos, right behind the chapel-microscopic Alley with several benches, passing right in the middle of the red. Near a lot of cafes and restaurants, so place a lively and very noisy. You can specifically not found in route-if you are in the Center, it's hard not to see:)

  • A small chapel, located on main street, is not only the object of worship. At one time, this point on the map was considered to be the geographical centre of Russia. Although actually, the chapel was destroyed in Soviet times, is a little different place from the historical.  Recreates the structure is very close to the original building. Above the entrance to the semicircular arch, there is an image of the Wonderworker made of mosaic.

  • A small but lovely Chapel in the middle of the road - it's in the middle of former Russia also. Religion architecture and SU style building, I love here and got impressed.

In fact, the geographical center of Russia, the coordinates of which are verified by the Federal service for Geodesy and mapping, is located on the Southeast shore of Lake Vivi, in the Evenki region of Krasnoyarsk, where the memorial sign

  • The Chapel is one of the symbols of the city. Built to commemorate the 300 anniversary of the reign of the Romanov Dynasty, and at the time of construction (year 1915) was considered to be the geographical centre of the Russian Empire.
