(4.2/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web)
Walk around Pozharsky and Minin Square, a venue for major festivals and events in the city, and admire views of the historic fortified complex at the center of the city. Devoted to Prince Dmitry Pozharsky and the Russian merchant Minin, who both became national heroes when they led Russian forces against Polish invaders at the start of the 17th century, the square is a convenient starting place from which to explore the main attractions of the city. Walk along the embankment to enjoy panoramic views, go souvenir shopping, and stop for a meal at one of the nearby restaurants or cafes. Go online to see an updated schedule of festivals and events being held in the square. • Very beautiful place! Grandly looks on the background wall. Highly recommend to visit!

  • The center of the city. The Kremlin, Bolshaya Pokrovskaya, Chkalovskaya Stair, fountain-all main attractions in one place. Be sure to visit all the tourists. Recommend to come here during the summer, when the sky is blue, and the streets clean of debris and snow. Always lively and there is where to sit. You can also find guidance on the city and get into the Kremlin itself. Successful trip to Nizhny Novgorod

  • Through the efforts of the authorities to the most interesting area of the city turned into a boring asphalt pad. Around the square, many interesting things: verkhne-volzhskaya embankment, a monument to Valery Chkalov, Chkalovskaya stair, the arsenal Museum, Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin, the monument to Minin. But the area itself is simply a longing. Although, perhaps, from this dull playgrounds to better appreciate the dignity of other places?
