  • A small area with a number of wooden buildings, including a church, a mill, a well, houses. There's a big swing. It hosts a variety of events: Shrovetide, Office and music festivals. Also quite often people arrange a photoshoot at a wedding. Nice place, friendly team!

  • Planning a trip to Nizhniy Novgorod decided to visit and Shhelokovskij wooden architecture Museum under the open sky. The day was very frosty and sunny, very picturesque place is a variety of wooden building 18-19 century, brought there from various villages-dwelling peasant houses, barn, mill, a very unusual well, two temples, all of this is in a very beautiful place, almost in the forest, where a small lake one of the houses was opened to visit-House of a wealthy farmer. But, unfortunately, all of this in a pretty poor state, so looks worse than a similar Museum in suzdal and Novgorod Velikiy.

  • Ŝelokovskij countryside with its lakes and forests-a great place for walking, especially in the autumn on a sunny day. And the Museum of architecture is a pleasant addition to the Walkabout: stately home fascinate by its majestic beauty. And do not notice that they need restoration support, and see the wonderful carving, interesting facades, unusual forged metal door overlay. Somehow in the homes in this country can easily appear to be people who lived their lives, I don't know whether it will remain so after the repair. I wish that there were more exhibits
