  • This tower, as well as all the Kremlin certainly needs cosmetic repairs, but in the present state of it looks very spectacular and spellbinding. The feeling that you are not in Nizhny Novgorod, and somewhere in Milan and look at Sforcca Castle. These incredibly beautiful teeth, holes and green roof is impressive. I advise everyone to Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin.

  • Of course, this is one of the sites where worth going if you came in Nizhny Novgorod! The core of the city I'd say our great story..! The Kremlin itself is impressive and is in good condition despite its age. Given modern technology, you can certainly make a very exciting and interesting tours and exhibitions here, inside and out. Until there all on a fairly modest level.

  • Powerful beauty Dmitrievskaya Tower, symbol of Nizhny Novgorod, the main gate to the Kremlin, was built in the early 1500 's, the age of her voshiŝaûŝe. Once (before the end of the 17th century) it was located 70% of the artillery of the Kremlin. At the end of 18 century tower, and the Kremlin was reconstructed was reduced the thickness of its walls (if this thickness, which survived until our time has been reduced, what tolstennaâ it was before?!), and in 1830 's portion of the Tower on the order of 6! meters was filled up, along with dry moat. At the end of 19 century, the tower was again reconstructed and extended, it was opened Museum, which visited Nicholas II. In the late 1930 's Tower was demolished due to the expansion draft, not yet. Coat of arms of the city (walking deer) installed on the roof in 1965, and an icon in honor of Yuri Vsevolodovich, founder of the lower, in 1993. And here is seeing such beauty, feeling and knowing the heroic story of the Tower, how can you not admire her? What a blessing that she survived until our days, and I hope that the authorities will allocate funds for its future preservation, to it, and the Kremlin stood another 500 years
