  • Impressive monument. What Murmansk a bit the Rio de Janeiro of the polar region. To see from the entire area. Please bear in Murmansk also not the most northern location of Mc Donalds to visit. Or one of the many other statues in the city. Further typical Russian city like many other Russian cities.

  • Monument to the defenders of the Soviet Arctic in the years of the World War II stands on a hill, it is visible from practically every point of the city. Upstairs immediately feel the scale and power. Top offers stunning views of the city, the port, on the Gulf. And around lies gray due to coal snow. The city is not so noticeable, but in a vacant lot near the monument straight catches your eye. Definitely worth a visit.
