Where to stay in Moscow

The capital of Russia and a huge metropolis, Moscow offers a plethora of different types of accommodations. Many renowned hotel chains are represented in the city, and some of its hotels rank among the world's most luxurious and expensive. Those traveling on a more modest budget can choose among the boutique or Soviet-era hotels. There are also numerous hostels and short-term rental apartments throughout the city. When choosing a place to stay, especially if you're only planning for a short visit, always bear in mind the size of Moscow. Staying too far from the center might mean that the precious time you could spend on sightseeing will be wasted in traffic and transport.

  • Interesting place! As I have understood you only pay for the time you spent at the cafe. The cafe or anti-cafe inself is made of an old soviet apartment! lot's of rooms, friendly staff, you can even c...  more »
  • A good place to sit, read, make new friends and spend your time with. There are various circles to taste (language learning, etc.)

  • Were in this place after visiting the dial in Kazan. Here is not a very friendly staff, then we realized that they're friendly when he returned some Anton. More to come no desire. If you come to work with headphones or not to wait for the friendliness of the staff, then pull on the 5.

  • It's a really comfortable and well-hidden place, so one has to be attentive not to pass it. The interior is very peculiar and features this odd cozy design that Russian cafes have adopted from traditional european establishments of this kind. There's plenty of room inside, and lots of board games, snacks (cookies, jam, etc.) and a variety of drinks, including quite a few sorts of tea and coffee. There are two-storeys, so don't forget to check them out in case the first level is all occupied. I paid 470 rubles for 3 hours here, which I consider a fair deal. The staff is very friendly and understanding. I do recommend it for both family and friends outings.
  • Super snug time cafe! Rooms feel like you are in the anthill from a fairytale
  • One of my favorite anti-cafes. Cozy, friendly, with a lot to do, countless places to hide from the crowd of you need. And the crowd itself makes the place even better.
  • A very nice and cozy place, ideal for meeting friends and play games. Although a bit expensive if you are spending a lot of time .
  • Amazing place. Hands down the best anti-cafe in Moscow, and the best place to hang out, have some coffee, do some work, and meet with some friends!
