  • Fascinating graveyard. Lots of artists and sportsmen are buried here. Easy to reach with metro plus 15 minute walk or metro + bus.
  • At vagankovo buried actors, sportsmen, prominent journalists, writers. It is therefore not surprising that not enough time to explore the alleys of this cemetery, you can see the famous names at once. Perhaps, for me it's still expensive cemetery and memories of the father-I was about 7, when we went with him "to Yesenin. He told me about the poet, on his mysterious death, the suicide of Galina Benislavskoj. Other dear to me the names of Vladimir Dahl-I despaired already to find his grave, as she saw the pointer. But the density of known names opredlâet is largely the life of this cemetery. Booth with a tour desk literally at the entrance, businesslike workers who clean the tracks and alleys, lots of people. Entrance-cemetery scheme indicating the burial sites of the most popular persons. Memorials-most often copyright, skul′ptrunye, and highly original and touching. For example, two young bronze fan near the grave of Beskov-in the present were 30-minute charts. Monument to Leonid Yengibarov lyric. Very stately-Alexander Abdulov. Sculpture on the tomb of Vladimir Vysotsky is a massive work of art. That's good-if you can find no grave of his idol-with George Vicinym I have so and left, his skromnejšee typical tombstone simply gets lost among the original monuments-you can ask workers: politely explain even.

  • Old vagankovo cemetery, probably one of the oldest (1771), the largest and most famous Moscow cemeteries. Here found their last refuge many prominent personalities, both historical and of our times. Symbolic name: "Goliard" in ancient Rus '-the travelling performers. A walk in the quiet shady alleys cemetery allowed to see a great many pre-revolutionary interesting monuments, gravestones, truly are masterpieces of sculptors. At the same time at the cemetery a lot of abandoned graves, one hundred years after the waters of the Styx and all .... That can save from complete forgetting-fame in real life and significance. Being in cemeteries, more and more I understand the value of their own lives, we have to live day today. I will not tell you who is buried here, just will make some photos.
