Where to stay in Moscow

The capital of Russia and a huge metropolis, Moscow offers a plethora of different types of accommodations. Many renowned hotel chains are represented in the city, and some of its hotels rank among the world's most luxurious and expensive. Those traveling on a more modest budget can choose among the boutique or Soviet-era hotels. There are also numerous hostels and short-term rental apartments throughout the city. When choosing a place to stay, especially if you're only planning for a short visit, always bear in mind the size of Moscow. Staying too far from the center might mean that the precious time you could spend on sightseeing will be wasted in traffic and transport.

  • Having Tishinka a few steps away from where I live I've already lerned to visit it quite often. If you're in the area, you can find everything you need: a convenience store, many fashion stores, dry-c...  more »
  • The second time, visited the exhibition of soft toys Teddy done in this Chamber. Exhibited many masters from all over the country, pretty much all sorts of different stuffed animals bears, seals and other cuties, made by hand. You can touch everything and buy. They are not cheap, but leave empty-handed from the exhibition doesn't really.

  • In Moscow today has several flea markets. In Sunday were on the Tishinskiy. Remained impressed. Here one should walk slowly, looking at the exhibited items and discussing them with the sellers. And what the sellers, you learn from them many interesting things, which nowhere you read. This and historians, and artists, all specialists in their field. Everything looks like a Paris, France only no one you will not tell in detail, or rather it can, and will, but I don't understand. Therefore, I advise and Muscovites, and the more guests visit this interesting place. Maybe you will find something suitable. By the way, if I'm not mistaken, next time it will be on May 19. The only thing that's frustrating is tickets-200 rub. There are no benefits, even for people with disabilities.
