Where to stay in Moscow

The capital of Russia and a huge metropolis, Moscow offers a plethora of different types of accommodations. Many renowned hotel chains are represented in the city, and some of its hotels rank among the world's most luxurious and expensive. Those traveling on a more modest budget can choose among the boutique or Soviet-era hotels. There are also numerous hostels and short-term rental apartments throughout the city. When choosing a place to stay, especially if you're only planning for a short visit, always bear in mind the size of Moscow. Staying too far from the center might mean that the precious time you could spend on sightseeing will be wasted in traffic and transport.

  • Beautiful temple near the entrance to the Park. A good example of when to design iconic buildings attract talented architects.

  • I was baptized in this church in very early childhood. I can't call myself a strongly religious man. Alas. But this temple of love come to him quite often. From the point of view of history, architecture and iconography of the place is beautiful and definitely interesting. In the temple there is an icon of the Iberian mother of God is in all respects an amazing icon. If you are ready to find a place in his heart for a miracle, it is necessary to go to such an icon and pray, how can. Really helps!

  • One of the most elegant and at the same time unusual Moscow churches. The Church on this site were at least 17 century, but specifically this built in old Russian style in 1913 year-consider new:) Despite the obvious links to old, she is distinctly modernist, from proportions and almost black Interior and finishing something very like a minaret behind:)
