  • The Church is absolutely simple, priprostaja. Beige, sometimes requiring repair of the wall. Crosses stand in the corner of the fligeja, the neglected furniture, tank for holy water, zamotan film is worth. The rest is also full of asceticism from the floor to the dome. That is not true, about the appearance. With Golden glowing domes, a tall, elegant church. Built in the 17 century. There are still a few old church buildings. Close to the Metro station Tretyakovskaya, but to find entrance into the Church, will have to pokruzhit' on the streets.

  • It's been very difficult to find this amazing church, completely hidden by houses and new constructions, then I heard its destiny is probably even worst, since it seems that in 2010 the Moscow mayor Y...  more »
  • Church of the resurrection is a short distance from the Kremlin, a hundred steps from the Church of the resurrection is a short distance from the Kremlin, a hundred steps from the Tretyakov Gallery. For years, he was surrounded by symbolic buildings belonged to the restoration workshops. In the 1990s, began trying to build around the luxury housing without the slightest regard for respect to the monument and historic Wednesday. During this time, many old homes belonging to the housing development 17-19 centuries, died. Today this problem is also not solved definitively. The public at the cost of enormous efforts succeeded in the restoration of the temple (held with numerous violations, however, damage the historic décor, in the upper Church is not complete). Saved partially factory shop of pre-revolutionary sausage production merchant Grigorieva (adjacent to the Temple from the East), there is an elite loft. Died in the summer of 2016 Foundation House Deacon, adjacent to the Temple from the South, now there's a huge Foundation pit for future buildings (September 2016). Not entirely successful experts and 19-century outhouse under the Bell Tower of the Church where it was before this open open arcade. The continuation of this gulbischa around the main volume of the Temple until to visit is closed, but after the restoration works there is hope that there will be leaving at least on certain days. Naryshkin Baroque style decoration above any praises, is a unique example of the Moscow architecture. The bulk of the Church and belfry rise over the old quarter of Kadaši (whose name is still not exactly deciphered), although a number of closely spaced buildings of the Stalin era and 90 's-2000 's it manages to partially obscure. When the Church is visible from the Kremlin, overlooking the offers from other parts of the city. But many Muscovites were never here! The entrance to the upper temple with stairways, which was once part of the external façade, is also of great interest is here and Arch and gate with a vegetal design. Currently the lower shrine, there are service. Its design is also interesting. There are well-preserved murals. And enthusiasts talk about the history of Kadašej and show a number of vintage rarities, collected at different times, in a small museum in Kadashevskaya Sloboda. Museum entrance to the right of the temple gate, one-storeyed building. Visit free of charge. The Museum staff will tell you a lot of interesting things, and on weekends you can usually climb and on the Bell Tower on the narrow course in the wall of the upper Church (accompanied by a museum staff member). From the Bell Tower overlooks the heart of old Moscow. And in the Museum, for example, there are crosses unique churches in the Kostroma region, salvaged p. Baranovsky, devotee-restorer. Between the input and the Church is also a small temple on the site of the very first buildings-churches in Sloboda. There is a basement-reliquary. Be sure to take the time to visit this unique monument, interact with people, indifferent to the history of Moscow. galleries.
