  • The Museum is dedicated to a huge reservoir of history of Russia from the Napoleonic wars to the present day. Very good shows economic development of Russia in the 19 century, the development of Russian political thought. With political institutions-as always. The Soviet period appear in the light of the positive main exhibition-related objects are gifts of labour collectives of the Secretaries-General. In optimistic spirit is sustained and the section post Soviet period. Detailed illustrated civil and Great ochestvennaja war facing exposure. Special block is highlighted in the history of the Russian revolution. In the main exhibition felt a sourdough "short course", there is little about the parallel political trends. More objectively and strongly affects the exhibition "1917-2017", which clearly recorded the dates and events of the revolutionary period (again without the opponents), but there's better illustrates the attitude of the masses, the size and geography of the process. Very enlightening and relevant. The Museum is very rich in exhibits, you can "hang". I "hovered", remembering what the flags of Soviet republics who relate. It turns out, "fly from Honolulu" identified only one third! Yes, and one room is dedicated to the history of the building itself, in the age of Pushkin-the Moscow English club.
