  • The Museum collection is a chic gems minerals and stone products from all corners of the globe, and in a souvenir shop for some 100 rubles you can buy a shark tooth or petrified moljuska. Unfortunately, the impression from visiting the Museum was damaged by one of its employees who refused to give his name and the post. They call it (as he identified himself in the hearts of tired of my requests to call his name). In the Museum you cannot login with sidecar, which is rare for Moscow, but the reason for this prohibition Vasya could not explain by telling us that all mothers safely pulling children on their hands, and if we are so decrepit that cannot cope with such a burden, then one must come with their husbands. Friend politely asked for book reviews, to wish the Administration to create a museum Wednesday for visitors with wheelchairs. And here started something incredible. Joe called us "pisakami" and "tridcatiletnimi proceedings" izdevatelskti commented on every our action, and at the end of the prophetically stated that the good life we never see! By the way, colleagues tried to reason with him, but in vain: Vasya already lost remnants of adequacy, and a stream of vulgar was unstoppable. The first time I encounter such a boorish attitude in an institution designed to sow reasonable, kind, eternal. I would like to believe that we just were unlucky, but recent reviews of the Museum at various resources are to the contrary.

  • Decided to go to this museum with the child, because we live near. Suggested friends. As a result, we gathered a group of 10 people (4 adults and 6 children 7 years of age). Excursion worth 700 p at all, plus entrance fee 100 p per adult. Kids free, schoolchildren pre-schoolers 1 EUR Tour we spent an amazing man in love with his business, Vasily Ivanovich, who spoke about minerals, stones with such love that would seem to be in a Museum, where exhibits are all behind glass and hands touch nothing, children were not boring and exciting. We watched the three halls on the ground floor. Excursion took just over an hour. Down (there's still 2 halls) descend not become, because kids are a little bit tired. It was agreed to come back to this Museum over time. The collection of the Museum is very rich: gem and very much, and stone sculpture and beauty on madly motif tales ... So I recommend. You cannot photograph. Age to visit 7 +

  • I have long wanted to visit the Museum "Gems". But not the fate, ugorazdilo us to go with the child (2.5 years) on the wheelchair. Beyond the first doors of the museum pass us failed, left guard who said-"with sidecar trespassing!". The questions: ' why? On what basis? Where is it written? Who gave the instructions? "the guard gave the same answer" BECAUSE! "after a minute he was tired and retired. His wife managed to pass for the second door, where she encountered a woman cashier-garderobshhicej-perhaps even cleaner. She had been asked the same questions. Managed to learn a bit more:-"we've carpets everywhere, we've generally in shoe covers hodjut ...". Ask if there is any child boot covers, the answer is "no, but since it only with strollers and feet clean, you can without them ...". Storage space for wheelchairs is not, watch for it there is no one, and if we came without carriages, shoes child no longer would be "sterile", and shoe covers on it, no! Remains an option, wear a child on hand throughout the visit to the Museum. So gentlemen and ladies with STROLLERS, and with children, and with shopping carts for products, as well as INVALIDY_KOLJaSOChNIKI forget about visiting this Museum and others advise.

Where to stay in Moscow

The capital of Russia and a huge metropolis, Moscow offers a plethora of different types of accommodations. Many renowned hotel chains are represented in the city, and some of its hotels rank among the world's most luxurious and expensive. Those traveling on a more modest budget can choose among the boutique or Soviet-era hotels. There are also numerous hostels and short-term rental apartments throughout the city. When choosing a place to stay, especially if you're only planning for a short visit, always bear in mind the size of Moscow. Staying too far from the center might mean that the precious time you could spend on sightseeing will be wasted in traffic and transport.
