  • Have not experienced such a delight from seeing the building. Staggering imagination of architect, reasoning every detail down to the door handle. As usual in such places, a great guide, I love my job! How joyfully, when you can visit such extraordinary places. Thanks to everyone who keeps all this magnificence!

  • Did not expect that it is so impressive to me. The House preserved environment, furniture, moldings on the ceiling, wooden frames, which are not repeated, each is unique. Very good, powerful impression! From mid-October to the Museum entrance fee to have done 300 p.

  • Such fluid shapes rarely seen in the best samples of the European Art Nouveau. Fedor Osipovich, author of this masterpiece, was a man of modest and courageous. Lived with her daughter in a communal apartment (he robbed Tips of his own, he also built the House), but did not complain. As is often the case with geniuses, Fyodor Schechtel studied badly and was expelled from school of sculpture and architecture, but this did not prevent him to find his own style and a lot of work. Ryabushinsky mansion good irises frieze, asymmetrical Windows, the overall color scheme, the integrity of the composition. Modern lived a short life in a decade and a half. And this style with no luck. In the USSR he was declared bourgeois, objects of applied art and furniture in the art nouveau style recession. Art Nouveau in the West is also not considered fit to protect. UNESCO protects very few objects in Art Nouveau style. in Brussels it houses built by Victor Horta. Shekhtel recognize a good architect, even specialists, indifferent to modernity and prefer classicism. But nobody guards his legacy.
