Where to stay in Moscow

The capital of Russia and a huge metropolis, Moscow offers a plethora of different types of accommodations. Many renowned hotel chains are represented in the city, and some of its hotels rank among the world's most luxurious and expensive. Those traveling on a more modest budget can choose among the boutique or Soviet-era hotels. There are also numerous hostels and short-term rental apartments throughout the city. When choosing a place to stay, especially if you're only planning for a short visit, always bear in mind the size of Moscow. Staying too far from the center might mean that the precious time you could spend on sightseeing will be wasted in traffic and transport.

  • On this quiet and cozy Park for walking and recreation with young children. Very green in the summer and definitely white from pure snow in Winter Park, perfect for walks with family or for reflection in solitude. The Park is located 3 minutes from the Metro station Dinamo and it's a big plus for those who work in the Center. Escape to an hour in the cozy Park, that can be prekrasnie in the middle of the workday. In the park but little good igfrastruktura. There is a small but very interesting playground. Trails for hiking. Skamjojki for holiday. Of the drawbacks worth noting straitel'stvo Metro station Dinamo stadium. Due to the small mud and devastation near the station. But this gap does not prevent to admire beautiful views of Petrovsky Palace. In General, a good place for walking and recreation with family.

  • Few people know that the Kings, living in St. Petersburg, rode the coronation in Moscow and on the way, the last stop before the Kremlin was Petroff Palace. Stunning baroque architecture in Ekaterinenskom style. A place where standing face to the Palace and back to the Leningradke you want to inhale more air, and immerse yourself in that era. The stunning beauty of the Palace. Clean Park, walk and bring their thoughts into order in quiet location.

  • Many have already written ... From myself I will add that there is also a playground for sports: many different devices that revolve, staffs; horizontal bars, climbing structures. Still there are swings and a large Wicker Pouffe-swing. We were at night, rocked ad nauseam. But evenings there can often be found the company of young people with beer and chips/seeds. Delicious smells from the trees in the Park. You can relax from the urban rhythm and noise.
